How to decommission and re-issue an offline license

This article pertains to offline licensing.  This licensing mode is less common but is used in cases where there is no internet access or with the OpenALPR SDK.

If you need to use your license key on a new or updated system, or need to update the expiration date the first step is to visit The License registration page. To login you will need the username and password provided to you after your first license purchase.

Once on this page click on a product name you have registered, or on the number in the registered column.  This will take you to the License registration details for your purchase.  The page should look like this:


Find the license(s) you would like to update or re-issue and click the "Decommission" button. Fill out the form on the page and then click save.  Repeat this step for each license you would like to decommission or re-issue.

Once your decommission request is approved (usually this occurs within less than 24 hours) by OpenALPR staff your license will then be available to register again.
